Infinite long conductor ki linear charge density hai lamda and lamda=q/l Where q=charge on conductor and l=is the length of conductor But when we divide the condutor into small parts of length dl each;then charge on a small part is also dq Then lamda=dq/dl (bcz lamda is constant) or we can write dq=lamda×dl. Hope u get it. Thnx.
