InPH3 there are 3 orbitals bonded to H atom and 1 lone pair of e.Lone pair-bond pair repulsion is more than bond pair-bond pair repulsion so its shape changed to pyramidal from tetrahedral and hence angle reduced from 109 deg to 92 deg.But in PH4+ ion there is no lone pair and hence angle is 109deg .So bond angle inPH4+ion is more than PH3
