ΔABC ~ ΔPQR

AB / PQ = BC / QR = AC / PR = 1 / 3

and AB / PQ = BC / PQ = AC / PR = 1 / 3

ar ΔABC / ar ΔPQR = (1 / 3)² = 1 / 9

ar ΔABC / ar ΔPQR = 1 / 9
