Let a number of humans be x and deer be y.
then, {tex}x + y = 39{/tex} ....(i)
and {tex}2x + 4y = 132{/tex}
{tex}x + 2y = 66{/tex} .....(ii)
On solving (i) and (ii), we get
{tex}-y = - 27{/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} y = 27, x = 12
