a ÷ (b + c) = 12 ÷ [(–4) + 2] = 12 ÷ (–2) = –6
(a ÷ b) + (a ÷ c) = 12 ÷ (–4) + (12 ÷ 2) = –3 + 6 = 3
So, a ÷ (b + c) ≠ (a ÷ b) + (a ÷ c)
