The society was profound of social and economic changes. It was a time when new cities came up and new industrialised regions developed, railways expanded, and the Industrial Revolution occurred. Many Changes took place in Europe due to Industrialization: a) Industrialisation brought men, women and children to factories. b) Working hours increased and the wages decreased. c) Unemployment was rampant. d) No proper housing or sanitation existed. e) The liberals and the radicals encouraged trade and believed in individual effort and labour enterprise. f) Some nationalist, liberals and radicals wanted revolutions for removing the governments established in Europe in 1815.
