Rowlatt act was passed by the british government this act gave the enormous power to the british government the government can suppress any political movement and arrest any political leader without any trial for 2 years the people opposed this law by doing striuggle the started marches Gandhiji started hartall against this unjust act raillies were organised in different cities .
