It requires high temperature, light rainfall or irrigation.
It also requires 210 frost free days and bright sunshine for its growth.
It’s a Kharif crop and requires 6 to 8 months to mature.

Cotton grows well in drier parts of black cotton soil of the deccan plateau 1. It requires high temperature 21 - 22 degree Celsius. 2. Light rainfall or irrigation 50 to 60 cm . 3. 210 frost free days with bright sunshine. And it requires 6 to 8 mnths to get mature.
