Horizontal power sharing includes executive, legislative, judiciary. They have same level but exercise different power so it checks one another so it is also called check and balance power sharing. In vertical power sharing power shared among central or Union, state and provincial or local government. All have not same power there is more power to central and low in its constituents units. These are the requirements of Sri Lankan Tamil 1... They demand Tamil as official language 2....they demand Tamil elams or independent states 3...they wants equality in government jobs, or in other sector
