PRUDENTIAL REASONS:- (1) It helps in reducing conflict between diverse social groups.... (2)By avoiding violence and political instability it leads to stability of political order.... (3) It ultimately leads to the unity and integrity of the nation. MORAL REASONS:- (1) It is rhe very spirit of democracy... (2)people have a right to be consulted on how they should be governed... (3) The political system can only be called legitimate when citizens acquire a stake in the system through the process of participarion.

prudential reasons power sharing avoids social conflicts.social conflicts lead to violence and political instability.so by adopting power sharing we can avoid political instability.in india reservations are done to sc and st communities so that they feel that they are part of the nation. moral resons power sharing is the spirit of democracy.a true democratic governance include the wish of the people. people can form associations to critize the govt. policies which makes govt. to rethink about its policies this active paticipation is only possible because of moral reasons of power sharing
