A homogeneous society is a group of people that have common ties with race, ethnic or religious backgrounds.
The features of homogeneous society are
(i) In this society, there are no significant ethnic differences and it shares a common culture.
(ii) Now-a-days, homogeneous societies are undergoing rapid change under the influence of migrants. Migrants bring with them their own culture and tend to form a different social community. In this way, today most of the countries of the world have become multi-cultural.
