Dicot leaf :
(i) It is dorsoventral leaf.
(ii) Stomata found only on lower epidermis.
(iii) Reticulate leaf vena¬tion.
(iv) Mesophyll is differ-entiated into spongy and palisade tissues. e.g., Dicot plants.
Monocot leaf :
1. it is is isobilateral leaf.
2.Stomata found both on lower and upper epidermis.
3.Parallel leaf venation.
4.Mesophyll not divided into spongy and palisade tissues, e.g., Monocot plants.
