Use the formula (t2-t1)/time=k[t(mean)-t(surrounding)] 'k' &'t(surrounding)' will remain same for a particular object ATQ, 1st case , t(mean)= (94+86)/2=90°C So,(94-86)/2=k[90-20] or, 4=70k or,k=2/35 2nd case,use k=2/35 t(mean)=(71+69)/2 =70°C So,(71-69)/time=(2/35)[70-20] or, time=0.7min or,. time=42seconds ✓
