In simple term they can be said as optical isomers of each other d dextro or l laevo they are isomers b/c they rotate ppl in different manner

These are optically active compound which are mirror image of each other and they have same melting point, boiling point and solubility but rotate the plain polarised light in opposite direction up to same extent.
