Jews were considered as the worst sufferers in Nazi Germany. This was because the Nazis considered them as a precursor in the traditional Christian hostility. They had been typecast as killers of Christ and usurers. Until medieval period, they were banned from owning land. They survived mostly through trade and money lending. They lived in separately marked areas called ghettos and were often mistreated.
However, Hitler’s hatred of Jews was such that he believed that conversion was no solution to ‘the Jewish problem’. It could be solved only through their total elimination.
