Diameter of sphere = 1 dm = 10 cm
Radius of sphere = 5 cm
Thickness of circular sheet = 1mm = 0.1 cm
Let radius of circular shet = r cm
(According to the question)
volume of sphere = volume of circular sheet
{tex}\Rightarrow \frac { 4 } { 3 } \pi ( 5 ) ^ { 3 } = \pi r ^ { 2 } ( 0.1 ){/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow \quad \frac { 4 } { 3 } \times 125 = r ^ { 2 } \times 0.1{/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow \quad r ^ { 2 } = \frac { 4 \times 125 } { 3 \times 0.1 }{/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow \quad r ^ { 2 } = \frac { 5000 } { 3 }{/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} r = 40.8 cm
