If x-1, x-4 and x-7 are in AP
then x-4 will be average of x-1 and x-7
[(x-1)+(x-7)]*1/2=x-4
2x-1-7=2(x-4)
2x-8=2x-8
2x-2x=-8+8
0=0
Hence there is no solution
Statement in your question is not a question this shows that
x-1, x-4 and x-7 are in AP for all real values of x
So x =.-infinite........-5,-4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3.......................infinite
