Let the number of 10 rupees note be =x Let the number of 20 rupees note be =50-x Value of 10 rupees note=10 into x Value of 20 rupees note=20(50-x) =1000-20x According to the problem 10x +1000-20x=800 -10x=-200 X=-1200 -10 X=20 Number of 10 rupees note=x=20 Number of 20 rupees note=50-x =50-20 =30
