Polarisation is the phenomenon of restricting vibration in a "particular direcn." In longitudinal wave, particles oscillate only in one directio., so we cannot isolate or distinguish particular direcn.

Longitudinal waves bcoz they travel longitudinally left right ( foreword and backwards movement)
