Px+qy=p-q -(1) qx-py=p+q-(2) multiply(1) with p and eq2 with q Px2+pqy=p2-pq-(3) q2x-pqy=pq+q2-(4) add eq 3 and 4 Px2+qx2=p2+q2 X(p2+q2)=p2+q2 X=1 Put this in eq 1 P(1)+qy=p-q qy=p-q-p Y=-q/q Y=-1

Multiply (i) by p and (ii) by q and add them and slove by elimination method ... Then answer is x=1 and y= -1
