Why the old ratio is to be considered as sacrificing ratio in admission of a new partner in case 1 ?

Because if nothing is stated, it means that the old partners do not have any prblm with his/her admission. And since the new partner is joining the firm so the old partners sacrifice their share for him in the same ratio in which they were sharing profits & losses previously
