Let AB is flagstaff=7m, BC is tower=x m, CD is distance between tower and the point=y m. Tan45°= BC/CD Tan45°= x/y 1=x/y x=y ...........(i) Tan60°= AC/CD Tan60°= AB+BC/CD √3= 7+x/y From (i) equation. √3= 7+y/y y√3= 7+y y√3-y=7 y(√3-1)= 7 Solve it and find value of y then from (i) eauation x=y So you get value of x ??Smart question
