Nth term =2n+1 Now put n=1 2*1+1=3 ..............1 Now put n=2 2*2+1=5 ..............2 From 1 and 2 we have a=3 D=5-3=2 Using formula Sn=n/2(2a+(n-1)d) Sn=3/2(2×2+(3-1)*2) Sn=3/2(4+4) Sn=3/2*8 Sn=3*4 Sn =12 The required Sn is 12
