Intramural activities: 1. It means that the activities which are perfprmed within the walls or within the campus of an institutions are called "intramurals".
2. These activities are organised only for the students of a school or an institution.
3. No student pf other school can participate in these activities.
Extramural activities:
1. It means that the activities which are performed outside the walls of an institution or school.
2. It means that the activities which are organised by an institution/school and the students of two or more schools can participate in them.
3. In extramurals competition, the students of other schools can also participate in sports related activities. It is also called inter-school competitions.

Intramural- 1. Intramural is made up of two words. "Intra" means "inside" and "mural" means "within the walls". 2. There is mass participation. 3. These activities are played in the houses within the campus. Extramural- 1. Extramural is made up of two words. Extra means "outside" and mural means "the walls". 2. There is no mass participation, only good selection. 3. These activities are played at various levels like inter-school competitions, district level, state level, national level etc.
