12x+ky-k=0

Eqns are  having no solution if

{tex}\begin{array}{l}\frac{\mathrm k}{12}=\frac3{\mathrm k}\neq\frac{-\mathrm k+2}{-\mathrm k}\\\mathrm{or}\;\mathrm k^2=12\times3=36\\\mathrm k=\pm6\end{array}{/tex}
