In this ap , d= a2-a1----(1) d=a3-a2--------(2) From eq. 1and 2 a2-a1=a3-a2 x+10-(2x)=3x+2-(x+10) x+10-2x=3x+2-x- 10 -x+10=2x-8 10+8=2x+x 18=3x x=6
