Let father = x, son = y

x = 3y + 3

x + 3 = 2(y + 3) + 10
3y + 3 + 3 = 2y + 6 + 10
3y + 6 = 2y + 16
3y - 2y = 16 - 6
y = 10

x = 3y + 3
x = 3 × 10 + 3
x = 30 + 3
x = 33

The present age of the father is 33 years old
