Delegation does not mean abdication. This is because though the superior delegates the authority to his subordinate but he still will be responsible (accountable) for the final outcome. That is, delegation of authority does not mean abstinence from accountability.

The top officials of a country’s Government held a meeting in order to speed up the business growth.
