Nation state was one in which the majority of its citizen,not only its ruler came to develop a sense of common identity or shared history or descent.It was flogged through the actions of leaders and common people.

A nation state refers to a cultural and political/ legal entity. It refer to a political union of people bound together by common history, culture or language. For example, India, USA, France etc.
