Population in India is distributed unevenly because of the following reasons:- (a) India is a vast country. Different regions of India have different climatic features , some regions are agriculturally productive so the density of population in this type of regions is very high. Regions recieving very low rainfall like Ladakh and Rajasthan have a very low density of population. (b) India is a developing country. Some cities of India are very developed while some cities are underdeveloped. These developed cities attracts the population from underdeveloped cities.
