Newton second law is real law of motion because we can derive Newton 1st law from Newton third law. To prove first law: We know, F=ma If no force act on Body So, F=0 ma=0 =>a=0/m 0=a OR a=0 It indicates either body is at rest or moving with constant speed which is first law of motion To prove third law:- F=dp/dt___1 Let f' is acting on 2nd body:- f'=dp'/dt____2 Add 1 and 2: F+F'=dp/dt+dp'/dt F+F'=d/dt(p+p') F+F'=d/dt(constant) F+F'=d/dt(0) F+F'=0 F=-F' Hence, action and reaction are equal and opposite direction
