Let 1 women finish work in x days and 1man finish work in y days Work of 1 women in a day= 1/x and work of 1 men in a day=1/y Now; 2/x+5/y=1/4 By taking LCM 2y+5x/xy=1/4 So; 2/x+5/y=1/4 8/x+10/y=1 similarly 3/x+6/y=1/3 3y+6x/xy=1/3 3/x+6/y=1/3 9/x+18/y=1 Let 1/x =p nad 1/y =q Therefore; 8a+10b=1 and 9a+18b=1 Solve it and find the answer.
