If the points are collinear than there wold be no triangle form I. E area=0 1/2[x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)]=0 [2(k+3)+4(-3-3)+6(3-k)=0 2k+6-24+18-6k=0 -4k=0 k=0 Hence for k=0 the points will be collinear.
