1)Rowlatt Act was passed in 1919. 2)According to this act,a political prisoner could be detained in jail without any trial. 3)Mahatma Gandhi tried to oppose it with satyagraha. 4)6 april 1919 was observed as a satyagraha day where people all over the world observed fast and hartals. 5)It was the first worldwide agitation by Gandhi ji.
