Overlapping :- When one kind of social difference become more important than other.People start felling that they belong to diffrent community.Such kind of social difference called overlapping. Cross cutting :- It means that the group that shares common interest on one issue are likely to be in different side on diffrerent issue.Such social difference are called cross cutting social diffrences.
