The Industrialist wanted protection against imports of foreign goods to organise business interest, they formed the Indian Industrial and commercial Congress in 1920 and the Federation of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and industry is known as( FICCI )in 1927. Led by prominent industrialist like Purushottamdas Thakur Dass and GD Birla the Industrialist attack over the Colonial control over the Indian economy is supported civil disobedience movement when first launched and gave financial assistance and refused to buy and sell the imported goods.
