As we know , In true solutions-----the substance which dissolved is called the solute and medium in which the substance is dissolved is called solvent. Similarly, in collidal system ,the turm solute &solvent is replaced by the terms dispersed phase & dispersion medium. (Solute ----- dispersed phase ) && (Solvent ------ dispersion medium).
