All the credits goes to the begum of Bhopal ...shajahan begum (check plz) who realised the stupa and stopped britishers to take away the gateways of stupa to england. She even constructed a museum for the restoration of the relics found destroyed in the stupa . And of course Sanchi stupa was discovered later on so they knew that it was essential as they unknowingly destroyed the Amravati before .

Perhaps Amaravati was discovered before scholar understand the value of the files and realise now critical it was it to prevent things instead of removing them from the site when Sachi was discovered in night 18183 of its for gateways was still Standing and IV was lying on the spot where it has fallen and mound in good condition
