    Secualrism means that a country (State)should have no state religion or it means that the state should not favour any one religion over the other . And on the other hand VoteBank Politics is just opposite of the idea of secularism. VoteBank Politics is practised by Politicians to favour a specific group of electorate (Voters) and appease them to gain Votes even if it is against the idea of secularism.
