So, 2 {tex}\times{/tex} 3 - 3y - 5 = 0
1 = 3a
a = {tex}\frac 13{/tex}
2x - 3y - 5 = 0 cuts the x-axis at (x, 0).
{tex}\therefore{/tex} 2x -5 = 0 or, x = {tex}\frac 52{/tex}
or, Point is {tex}\left( \frac { 5 } { 2 } , 0 \right){/tex} .
