2r = 84 cm, r = 42 cm, h = 120 cm
⇒ r = 42 cm., h = 120 cm
∴ Area of the playground leveled in taking 1 complete revolution.
= {tex}2\pi rh{/tex}
= {tex}2\times{22\over7}\times42\times120{/tex}= 31680 cm²
∴ Area of the playground = 31680 × 500
= 15840000 cm²

={tex}15840000\over100\times100{/tex} m²
= 1584 m2
∴ the area of the playground is 1584 m²
