1. A hawker doesn't have permanent place for selling her goods where as shopkeeper jas a permanent place of his own . 2. Goods are produced in fartories or on farms but we don't buy directly from the factory. The wholesalers trader first buys goods in large quantities. These will then be sold to other traders. The trader who finally sells thisto the consumer, is the retailer. 3. It is not necessary that one has to go to the market and purchase goods. We can place order for a variety of things through the phone. In clinics, we have noticed sales representatives waiting for doctors. Such person are also engaged in the selling of goods . Thus buying and selling takes in differ3ways , not necessarily through shops in thr market
