Solution : {tex}{4-3\sqrt 2\over 4+3\sqrt 2}{/tex}
Rationalise it denominator,
{tex}= {4-3\sqrt 2\over 4+3\sqrt 2} \times {4-3\sqrt 2\over 4-3\sqrt 2}{/tex}
{tex}= {(4-3\sqrt 2)^2\over( 4)^2-(3\sqrt 2)^2}{/tex} using (a+b)(a-b) = a2 - b2
{tex}= {16-24\sqrt 2 + 18\over 16-18} {/tex}
{tex}= {34-24\sqrt 2\over -2}{/tex}
{tex}= {-17 +12\sqrt 2}{/tex}
