Haussmanisation of paris refers to the forcible reconstruction of paris to enhance its beauty and impose order.The poor were evicted from the centre of paris to reduce the possibility of political rebellion and to beautify the city. It is named so because this work was done by baron haussmann the cheif architect of paris during the reign of Napoleon II RATTA MARLO
