Surface area = 4  πr2
2464 = 4 × 22/7 × r2
2464 = 88/7 × r2
r2 = 2464 × 7/88
r2 = 28 × 7
r2 = 7× 4 × 7
r = 7 × 2
r = 14 cm
New radius = 2r = 2 × 14 = 28 cm
New surface area = 4 × 22/7 × 28 × 28 = 9856 cm2
