There is a formula for the infinite sum of a g.p. i.e. a1 / (1-r)........infinite ka sum tabhi nikala jaa sakta hai jab.......r(ratio) '1' se less aur '0' se greater ho....... iss.......question mein b 'r' '1' se less hai........ratio= 2nd term divided by 1st term.........or 3rd term divided by 2nd term .......so here ratio is equal to 1/3......... and a1 is the first term i.e. 1. ........now put the values in the formula
