A+B+C = 180 B+C =180- A Divide both sides by 2 Cosec square (B/2 + C/2) = Cosec square (180/2-A/2) Cosec square (B+C/2) = Cosec square (90-A/2) Cosec square ( B +C/2) = Tan square (A/2) Proved

Cosec^2 (b+c/2)-tan^2(a/2)=1 L.H.S: =cosec^2(b+c/2)-cot^2(90-a/2) =cosec^2(b+c/2)-cot^2(b+c/2) =cosec^2-cot^2 =1 R.H.S
