A students adventure camp was organised for class X students and their accommodation was planned in tents . Each group of four students was given to prepare a conical tent of radius 7m and canvas of area 551m2 in which 1m2 is used in stitching and wasting of canvas....what is the height of conical tent? How much space is occupied by each student in the tent?

    R= 7m

    LSA = 551-1=550m2

    LSA=πRl=πR√h2+R​​​​​​2=22/7×7√h2+49=550

    √h2+49=25

    h​​​​​​2​​​+49=625

    h=√625-49=√576=24 m

    Space in tent floor=πr​​​​​2=22/7×7×7=154 m​​​​​​2

    area for each boy=

    154/4=3=38.5 m​​​​​​2 Ans
