In a democracy, a government is of the people, for the people, and by the people. And this is reflected by the parliamentary system. Parliament is the highest legislative body in the country. Both the houses of parliament are made up by the representatives of the common public.
1)we need parliament for making new laws in the country and changing and abolishing existing laws.
2)we need a parliament because it controls the executive organ of the government.
3)parliament controls the finances of the government.
