Prosenchyma: In some cases the parenchymatous cell become long and taper at either end such tissues is called prosenchyma. The cells of this parenchyma are long with pointed ends. This parenchyma forms the pericyle of roots. It comprises loosely woven hyphae lying almost parallel to each other.
